Default What does the Shift Cable (CVT) look like?

Pulling my first motor and I need to remove the shift cable (CVT). But I'm not sure what it looks like and where it is. I have the helms manual, I just cant decipher the picture.

Anyone got a pic??

helms manual refers to this part as the "Shift Cable (CVT)"

So where is this shift cable?

IF your car had a cvt thats where the cable would be (I think). Remember the helms must cover all models.

Yeah, the only 96-00 civic with a CVT is the Civic GX (it's a natural gas vehicle, sold as fleet vehicles in the canada and cali).

so, if I'm working on a 2000 Civic, I should just ignore/skip the part about a CVT?

Oh yeah, I always forget about that bastard of a transmission. Guess it comes naturally when every hx i've ever seen has been a manual

Well you don't have a CVT right? Just a regular 5 speed?
