I think "full throttle shifting" would be shifting without taking your foot off the gas. Also called "power shifting".

Companies make stiffer bushings for your shift linkage. There is one bushing that sits under the car, directly under your shifter. The other bushing is where the linkage connects to your tranny.
These bushing may make the shifting feel better, but will not, in any way, allow you to shift any faster.

it means the owner is a dumb ass who tried to drag race a fwd car and the only way he can get it to go any faster to own that daihatsu down the block is to sacrafice the transmission

Re: What Does This Mean????? (Slopoke)

correct me if im wrong, but isn't power shifting only good for downshifting? how would powershifting while upshifting do any good at all?

powershifting isnt good for downshifting either... you want to rev-match... or atleast just blip the throttle so it can match easier

Hmm. So anyone that drag races a fwd car is a dumb ass? Cause I bet 95% of people on this board have drag raced at least once.

I believe your thinking of "rev matching", but power shifting is usually good for a couple tenths in the 1/4 mile.
Hard on your clutch and tranny, though.
