What does d16z6 intake manifold do for a d15b7?

What does d16z6 intake manifold do for a d15b7?
I have read from b7 builders that using the z6 intake manifold is one of the cheapest gains you can get. What exactly does it do and how is it different? I know what an intake manifold is, but how would it help?
Do you need to switch injectors, wiring, or anything, or is it a straight swap?

Is the y8 intake a straight swap? Or are you just saying it flows better?
And Dave, here is a link. I have the grey interior in my 94 hatch and need the cluster bezel with vents, arm rest if they even exist, and the inside door handles and speaker grills. You have the 4 dr though so I don't think you can help me with handles or speaker grills. Let me know how much for the grey bezel though. I'm not sure if you can private message on here or not, but I'll see.

The z6 manifold flows slightly better. In my opinion, it is better for this application since the swap is very easy. You can reuse your injectors and you don't have to do any extra wiring.
The z6 manifold is on the left; the b7 manifold is on the right:

they have bigger ports than a stock d15 intake manifold. and yes you need injectors but no wiring because your wiring harness has the wires you need. all you need is the mani, injectors, and an intake manifold gasket. thats all.

yes...they are the same intake manifold.

I can understand that the z6/y8 intake manifolds flow better but does anyone have any specs or info of how much better? after doing the I/M switch, is there any noticable gains or do i have to pretend there are?

HAHA
At least you can admit it.
To answer your question: the manifold swap is worth a couple horsepower, but it's not anything to get excited about.

Aslo, heres your 3rd time answer, you can use the same injectors. I've switched a bunch of my b7 stuff on z6 i/m when troubleshooting some problems a while ago, and had no problems.
