What do you guys use as pedal covers?
Well my pedal covers took a **** yesterday. My clutch and brake. Im wanting to replace them. Went online to a OEM Honda store they are about 6 bux each. But im wondering if you guys have placed some other covers on them instead of OEM ones. And which ones are best on a EG. Cuz ive bought some POS covers before and they would slip.....LoL.
i dont want that, so if you guys are rocking some covers and have had a great experience with them post them up so i can check them out and see if i purchase them.
TIA to who ever contributes to this thread.

Well i was actually just searching them on egay. but found some as cheap as 35 and some as high as 100+. Are all these fake or what? And do they slip at all? How are they installed?

Well that's a hard one..I'd say go with the cheaper ones..Because, What are the chances of the real one's that you stated were 100+ being real? Regardless, They should be Non-Slip, So either way they should work and most pedal covers are just clips that slip on the metal part of the existing pedal, If they're more professional..Then you would have to do some hole drilling. But as i read on one of the auctions for the pedals, It say's no drilling required so i'm guessing they just clip on.

Yeah but sometimes those clips suck and dont have good pressure and they start to slip or should i say come off while youre driving. Thats what im trying to avoid.

Mugen, or if you want to be a little different, the Honda Access covers are pretty dope looking. Both of these will run you some money though. If you just want rubber replacements, I would go with the ones from Honda. Once I bought a rubber replacement from Advance and it didn't fit for ****. It would slip and slide around on the clutch pedal, and even came off once. The OEM's fit a lot tighter.

LoL...at replies. Skate tape.....
IDK i might just go back to OEM pads. Unless i find something nice. The reason i dont want the MUGEN(even though deep inside i do) is im afraid of those gay clips that they usually have to slip. And i drive alot.

why do you disprove of the grip tape method? alot of people use it. not everyone cares about if something is super mad jdm. somethings just work. if your car is a show car, then get mugen pedals, if your car is a race car, use grip tape. if your car is a daily driver, just get some oem covers for your pedals.

I have Mugen pedals and they don't slip at all. The way they are designed is different from other companies. There is a slot at the bottom of the pedal that the bottom of the actual pedal slides into and then a bar at the top that 'bolts' it to the pedal. I've had mine on for a few weeks and they don't move at all.

And im not hating on grip tape. It's just unusual. That's all. I don't have the patience or skills for that.

no skill needed. simply cut a two squares and a rectangle that is larger than the pedals, attach on, then take a socket extension and run it around the edge of the pedal. this will create a "template" of where you should cut.

i also use the griptape method. never ever slips and its cheap. 6 bucks for a huge sheet that'll do your pedals and 8 other peoples pedals.
