Some of us would prefer GM Synchomesh MF (so far not alot of results from longevity)...other than that...Honda MTF/brake fluid...

I hear a lot of people talk about the GM Synchromesh MF stuff and everyone says its good. But you can't go wrong with the stock Honda MTF stuff.

Actually, I hear regular motor oil will work no problem, just don't put in too high of a weight.

This is what I use. I've never had a problem with it, so I figure why change. Although everyone seems to love GM Synchromesh. I might try that out in the future. But presently, it's just regular ol' Honda crap.

I used GM Synchromesh the last MTF change and while the shifting is generally smoother, less notchier, and there is a noticeable decrease in grinding, I think this is just a result of newer/fresher MTF (not brand). Next time I'll be using the 3qt of Honda MTF I have right here

The GM Synchromesh and the Royal Purple Synchromax ended up being too thin for me. Right now I am having great results with Mobil1 15w-50 in the RSX 6 speed in my Si, and 75w-90 Mobil1 in my turbo D.
