Yes, when your ECU isn't given all the sensor inputs it's looking for, the result is a less-than-smooth operating engine.

Re: what do these pinouts do (EE_Chris)
could this be the cause of my engine acting like it isnt getting any air.
because there is a bung in my engine bay where all these wire go to i didnt trace all of them back just the mixed colored.

I don't understand what that means.

I'd assume so. Then again, when the CEL is on, I generally FIX THAT before I start asking questions like this one.

WELL I GOT A CEL FOR A SECONDARY O2 SENSOR AND A CKF SENSOR

what i meant is there is a big connector that looks like it would branch out to like two other connectors but i dont have them

Is the big connector capped off? If yes, then no, it doesn't branch off to anywhere.
Did you do the CKF bypass trick? Did you re-do the wiring for the 2nd O2 sensor? Did you search since both codes are common issues with a B-series into a 6th gen hatch?

Re: what do these pinouts do (EE_Chris)
yes i did the trick bu thten code 9 come up and it runs worse.
i dont have a cat that will support the 2nd o2 sensor.
but i thought the 2nd o2 is only for the cat anyways.
the bung is not capped off.
the pin numbers i gave you are the ones lkeading to that bung.
there is about 6-7 wires .
then theres another bung that i had before but i figured out it was fr my primary so i wired that up and now my po2s works.
the shop that did my swap switched my wiring harness because thats not how my y7 harness was i just recently figured it out.
so know im trying to work with it.
but i am getting a chipped p06 ecu by the end of the week so maybe obd1 will be better
