what do i need to take off head?
i might head to the junkyard this week to look for a window for my moms camry (broken into) and while im there i would probally practice takeing off a D series head from a honda. what do i need? im taking 10mm thru 19mm sockets, rachet, extensions, screwdrivers, etc. what am i missing?

usually the motors are pre-pulled, depending on the junk yard. not to mention the guys probably wont appreciate you toying around with the engine.
but all in all, remove all hoses, spark plugs\wires, manifolds, and loosen it up

the junk yard taht i go to has most of the motors intact, i seen some motors with the head off, while still in the engine bay, some with the tranny off, and i look in the car and its there lol. so just basic tools would work?

if you're going to take all the tools you listed you souldn't have aproblem removing a head. take a flat head screwdirver with you so you can pry the hoses off.
