what do i need to put a d16y8 in my 94 del sol si
i just got a good deal on d16y8 with 32,000 miles.I'm trying to find out what i need to put it in my 94 si.The engine coming out is d16z6,so do i need a different ecu or what i have searched and i 'm not 100% sure as to what i need thanks

motor, tranny, ecu..... the remaining components should be the same

re-wire dizzy obd1 with the guts from your old si one, keep the p28, eliminate the knock, keep either tranny and you may need the upper driver mount as the bolts may be to narrow a pattern.

the bolt pattern for the dizzy on the z6 IS different then the DX or the Y8. he will have to mod the dizzy holes to use it or just get a OBD1 DX dizzy
