what ecu are you using?? vtec is fairly simple to wire up. You don't need a dif. harness..there are two wires that you will need to wire to the ecu..here's a link for you//middle of page

well I'm not sure. but i do know that the hornest that comes out of the wall, has the vtec whires on it. but are discontinued under the hoo on the passenger side, where the plugs meet to connect to the engine.

Ok a cx. You need an engine wire harness from a 92 -95 ex/si civic. Should get one from around 100.00 to 150.00 and it will be a plug and play ordeal. As long as nothing is "rewired" on the ecu plugs.
Vtec prewired to shock towers and I didn't understand a damn thing you just wrote.

Otherwise you can run the two vtec wires out. One goes to solenoid and the other to pressure switch. You can ground the switch to thermostat housing if need be. Can use either a P28 or another ecu but not sure.
I have a 5 speed P28 virgin (not chipped) if you want to buy it.

This is a very stupid way to do it.
VTEC is a couple of wires (quite literally). Just wire it up yourself. Installing an entire new harness is a complete waste of money and time.

Agreed but with that typing not sure if he will be able to do it.
A4-VTS VTEC solenoid GRN/YEL, N/a
D6-VTM VTEC pressure switch Light Blue, N/A
You could get them right at the shock towers. That link above is a good diagrahm to go by. I would just get them right at the ecu and run the two wires in a loom out to the plugs since they are two inches from each other. It will look cleaner and there is a grommet behind the battery that you can use.
Hope this helps you out. Good luck.

Eh, he's doing things the hard and wasteful way.
You'll need the VTEC ECU. I'm not sure what it is for the JDM D15B. Just run the two wires to the ECU through the same place where your harness crosses through and you'll be fine.

oh, is that right. well i looked at the link up top. I'm guessing i'll just strip those 2 whires and attach other linking them to the knock sensor and to the vtec solenoid.?? right . if not can someone show me a step by step write up of how to whire vtec up myself. TANX

Spellcheck>you but yes use the threads in the FAQ section and you should be able to do it yourself and will not need to buy a new harness however a new ecu will be needed and i have the proper ecu for you to run it if you want to buy it let me know and pm me.

The JDM D15B is an OBD-I motor. You'll need to use an OBD-I ECU. An OBD-I ECU will not look for a knock sensor and your engine doesn't have a knock sensor.
PS:
Just look for mini-me writeups, they all have how to wire up VTEC.

Yeah solder into A4 connection at ecu run that wire to the spool looking thing on top of vtec solenoid.
Solder into D6 and run that into should be a green plug. Run the other connector of said green plug to a ground and you have voila vtec. The P28 will run the 15b but so will another one out there.

What is that worth cash wise? What is the inlet diameter and does it have a silencer? What size tip?
