What do i do with the accelerating cable?

Default What do i do with the accelerating cable?

i have a JDM b16a and ive notice that the will not just bolt on is there anything i can do to get it work or do i just buy a new one? and if i do will a 1999 honda civic SI cable work? heres the pic if you dont know wat i mean:

You could make a custom bracket or get the throttle cable from the 94-00 Integra or Del Sol Vtec.

probably be easier to make a custom bracket, just cut a rectangular piece of steel at the right length and drill two holes in it where the bracket you have can bolt to the custom one, then bolt the custom one where your other bracket is, make sure to get your measurments right though. I had to do the same thing with my B16 swap.

I have the correct cable for you.
I did a swap from a d16 to a b16 and then did a right hand drive conversion.

just turn around the bracket and only use the one bolt on the left, then bolt on the throttle cable. Its a ghetto way to do it but it will work for the time being. Mine has actually been like that for almost a year.

we fabricated a metal bracket to work on my b16 hatch.
