what to do, fix problem or new shortblock?
sooo i just swapped in a gsr into my ek the beginning of oct. my friends friend i guess put in too much oil and they didnt really do anything. (and i didnt know that happened >:[ )so then i drive to vegas with tooo much effing oil & everytime i would open my hood, there would be oil splattered everyyywhere. so ..i get to vegas & change my oil..soo then..every once in awhile, blue smoke would come out of my exhaust. not helllla, but enough to see from my rear view and it would only come out for like 2 sec...and it still does it once every here and there when i step on my gas or down shift.
so i read up about it and a lot of the threads say i probably need new piston rings. so i talked to a few people, and they said i should just get a new shortblock rather than get new piston rings and get the work done. what do you guys think.
oh and if i got a b20 shortblock, would i need anything else other than the shortblock and oil lines?
