from what i know. it will still be slower than manual (obvious) and you will kill your tranny if you wanna make decent power. Honda auto trannys cant handle much over stock. like 60 over stock?

someone correct me if im wrong.

i think the auto will hold up to 200hp but not for long... best way is just swap it out for a manual, like 93 ej1 said...

i just got rid of my slush box. sold my car and bought same year, same everything (lower miles, and 5 speed). Now im happy. Im just swapping all my old stuff over to my new car. Much easier than doing a swap IMO and you can get a car with lower miles. Only paid 1000 dollars difference for 50,000 less miles and 5 speed.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - I'm so tired of these threads.

The reason this forums seems so busy and popular is that half the time n00bs post threads asking the same damn question.

READ BEFORE YOU POST!

Oh yeah, and swap out the tranny first.

boostincoupe: I agree, it makes you want to give them an eSlap huh?

If you're cheap then buy a (used) turbo until your tranny or short block goes. Then replace with something more effective.

You have an EX - it has VTEC, VTEC will work while you're boosting!

Good luck!
