what to do?
alrite so this summer ill be making a good amount of money..and i know if i should invest it into the del sol and swap a motor in it...or buy a new car (civic hatch) and go jdm completely..what do u guys think?..if i go jdm ill deffently be coming here alot more...cause i know jack **** about jdm lol..i just dont know if i should start a new project in the middle of another...
i mean i could always buy a 88-91 hatch or buy a crx or something for a few bucks like 200-500 or i could save and buy a 92-95 civic iuno... or just consintrate on the del sol...get a motor swap and turbo..

keep the sol man, fix it up and smoke some ***. And also u don't have to buy a hatch to go JDM, its retarded and overrated if u ask me, paying ridulous (sp) amounts of money for stock parts to make ur car a wanna be J-spec even though it will never be.....that's just my 2c, so goodluck for whichever u choose.

Re: (jaedaEG)
If you're doing the JDM (which you know nothing about) trend or can't make this decision on your own go get a big body kit and a big *** wing, some 18s and call it a day. Forget the engine mods because you obviously don't need them if you're just following a trend. Why don't you just try to do your own thing? Be original.

Good post man, but if the kid wants to JDM it up yO then thats what he wants. He might be doing it because he thinks its better than rice. Or he just wants to be cool. I hate that everyone is trying to be "jdm" but what are u gonna do about it? ya know?
R33DelSol... research what u want for yourself man, u will be alot happier when its done. What do u mean completely JDM, if u wanna do that, buy a Japanese RHD Civic. then ur work will be done already.

Then you like my car (it's white with all the above mentioned except for the headlights). I'm not trying to talk ****. I'm just saying do your own thing and don't follow a trend. If you want a performance car, cool. If you want a show car, cool. Let me just give my honest opinion - Sols look like **** with body kits and big wheels. I see them everyday where I live and they're eyesores.

if you think that is alot of money, JDM is not the way to go at all, that **** is expensive
2 grand is not alot of money, esp when it comes to cars, i spent over 7 grand in 3 days, and that was nothing JDM, so be prepared

Re: what to do? (darkcvc)
man i wasn't trying to flame u, what suits u and ur car is cool by me!! ur style of cars and mine may be different but i don't think the "jdm" style is better than kits and wings. "rice" just isn't my cup of tea, i like no kits, just my factory lip and cf wing and smaller rims, the rest should be for my motor.

5. "What should I do next to my car?" topics are a BIG no-no.
We are not a personal consulting service. We do not know your financial situation, your motor preference, or your aesthetic tastes. Do what YOU want and/or can afford to your car. Topics with questions regarding a specific product are fine, but broad questions asking for help on deciding what you should do to your hott ride next are not permitted any longer.
