Often times it's an issue of space and clearance, or the difficulty of adapting a certain pump or bracket to work with a certain motor.

I've seen all sorts of swaps and turbos with ac and ps.
Just depends on the mounts and how the turbo comes off the manifold.
A top mount turbo usually allows for ac and ps.
i'm 99% positive most current b series mounts for civics permit use of at least ac if not ps and ac.

The only thing I can think of is that it will make working on your motor easier. More space in the engine bay, etc. But if you plan on making it your daily driver, I would recommend keeping both. There's nothing that would cause you to remove it. Even though it would be kind of a tight fit to keep your AC system if you were boosted.

well its going to be my daily driver .. and i don't know if i want to turbo my d16 or do a b series swap .. but whatever i do i want to know ahead of time that i will be able to keep ac and ps
so as far as turbo mannys go .. i dont know just by looking at it .. what manifold will let me use ac
and as for motorswaps .. i feel like an h series swap is the only swap thats gunna make me lose ps and ac .. only reason i say that is because ive seen an h swap w/o both

Yea you should be able to keep both of them with no problems and since it will be your daily driver it would be wise to do so. It's all a matter of space which shouldn't be a problem. As for an H swap, I wouldn't know, but if it's a B series motor, you should be fine.

any b series swap you can reatin a/c and ps...its just a matter of finding the right brackets and lines..as for a h serie swap i think you can retain ps not so sure of a/c due to the fact of the alternator..
