Default What could be wrong with my car???

My car runs like crap. It backfires sometimes and idles too high or too low. Recently i have changed the timing belt, have the valves adjusted, changed the primary 02 sensor, changed the fuel filter, new plugs, wires, and a battery. I don't know whats wrong? And the car doesn't throw any cels. Some one told me to try and check my ecu but i have to go and find one that i know is good. Does anyone else have an idea? I know it could me a lot of things but any imput would me nice. Also do you know of any tests i could run on the car that would be cheap?

is it misfiring?

first do a compression test on it, then find out which cylinder the problem is from, i remember i had the same problem in my old 98 EX (may it R.I.P)

(telling about your car from sitting behind a computer is hard we can only give sugestions.)

since you replaced the wires and plugs you might as well replace the cap and rotor... could be the problem
