if i rewire the dizzy from obd2 to obd1 wrong and tried to start it...what possible problems could i get? cuz thats wat i did n now it will barely crank over and if it does...it will be on for a second or two then die and seems like theres no power at all. ive checked everything starter, new dizzy, new spark plugs, and wires

what do you mean re-wire, all of the dizzy plug wires for obdI and obdII were the same color on mine and I didn't have to cut anything I just pulled the pins out one at a time and put them into the new plug as I pulled them out.

if you pinned it wrong I would imagine it wouldn't run right if it even ran at all and you could possibly burn something up.

it could be something simple though. The last time I parked my engine for a while the ignitor went bad so you can save yourself some time by checking for spark and if your not getting any check the coil and ignitor first. It's hard to screw up the dizzy wiring being the wires are the same color

well u had to rewire mine cause the cap got messed up. the pins werent even staying in place anymore. i went to the junk yard and found a cap with all the pins still inside. thats were i rewired. but the first time i did it i messed up a few wires. now it just wont crank over or now it wont even crank.

now its barely even cranking over...you can just hear the starter clicking but no power what so ever to engine
