when driving normal i let off the gas and then there is a noise like 2 metel objects grinding. could this be that someone did not put in the right tranny fluid or that there is not enough?

you should have used honda manual transmission fluid or GM syncromesh

you could tell there is enough by removing the fill plug and seeing if you can feel fluid in the hole.

yes. if the tranny isn't being properly lubricated then a lot of things can go wrong

You all think that this is a trans related problem? Please people, think before you post. If it was trans related it wouldn't be just when he released the gas pedal.

The sound you hear is common on Hondas, it is very possible that it is a heat shield around the header or cat.

Check to see if either are loose.

so is it a rattling noise, with more of a higher frequency or is it like a grinding noise like when you try to slip into 2nd gear instead of 4th at 60mph?
