Default What could it be?

Hey guys, i'm new here and I would really appreciate your help!
So heres the deal. I just picked up a theft recovered 92 Civic Si. I was putting the ignition back into its proper place and I shorted something. After that, the car would just not start. But before that, the car started perfectly.

This is what happens:

So when I put the key in with the door open I get that annoying beeping sound. When I turn it, I DONT get that ding-ding-ding sound. Not only that, but none of the lights on the instrument panel lights up as any car usually do prior to starting it.

So as of now, it doesn't send any sparks, or any turn or anything. It acts like a dead battery, but the battery is fine. It acts kind of like a kill switch has been activated.

And yes, there used to be an alarm on it with a kill switch but the alarm has been disconnected from the battery. Also the kill switch was ripped apart when the thieves stole it. But when I was trying to put it back, the wires were hanging loose. Could that short I was speaking of earlier activated the kill switch? or did that short killed the ignition switch?

Please help me out guys.

Thanks.

Might be fuses. Start looking for blown fuses.
