What clutch to use for B16?
Which clutch do like for this motor? Also which flywheel do you prefer? For me, I'm not looking for for high hp numbers, but which clutch is the best. Right now I'm looking at act stage 3 6-puck clutch, and i don't really know about flywheels. Any feed-back would be nice.
Also how do you post in the classifieds? It says i'm not prohibited or something like that. Thanks!

trial user = no classifieds for you..... yet.
i stand by clutchmasters clutches.... that's what i've always used, and they've yet to let me down........ as for flywheel, i use the act streetlite.

Re: What clutch to use for B16? (Team 4R)
I have an exedy organic race with the exedy 8.5 lb flywheel. Seems to be a good combo. very streetable with a good grab and long life. I have been pounding it for 2 years (over 45 K miles) now. It still grabs well, and never slips but it is getting soft.
From what I have heard from friends ACT and Action are both excellent clutches as well.

I have had a clutchmasters stage 3, Action 2md, ACT Extreme pressure plate with street strip disk. Action clutch was a lot cheaper but would buy another ACT if I was going to do it again.
Also if you are not looking for high HP you will not need the 6 puck ACT it is a really sticky clutch.
Either way You will love the feeling of ant aftermarket clutch compared to stock they grab like a mother.

6 puck clutches suck *** and will destroy your transmission or at least your flywheel.
I've broken 3 final drives with a sprung hub 6-puck clutch, and I will never run one again.
I say spend the extra money and get the ACT Xtreme Pressure Plate (or heavy duty) and get the modified street disc.
This set-up has been awesome for my other B-powered hatchback. It still barks second and third gears after FOUR years of hard driving!

I'm using a 6 puck right now. Don't feel like messing up my tranny so i'm going back to an ITR clutch, pressure plate and flywheel. It'll grab just as hard and less stress on the tranny.
