what clutch to buy?
I'm going to be at around 190-200whp this summer and I'm in desperate need of a new clutch. I've been told that a 6 pluck is a bit much for my stock tranny, even if it is sprung. I'm looking to spend $250 or less, what woud you recommend.
by the way, it's a daily driver if that helps, mainly in town stuff, some at the track.
ps, I've search, but can't really find any good info on what the different stages mean, and pressure plates?
hows this one? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...43957

Go for the ACT clutch with a shaved flywheel. I got the heavyduty plate with the street and strip disk. It grabs about an inch from the floor. I would shoot for that one. ACT all the way!!!. stage 2

That's a nice clutch but is out of the $250 price range...

Re: (hotdoggies)
I ended up going with the act clutch HC5-HD00 for only $252 shipped, not bad I thought. http://turboimport.com/catalog/clutch.htm I think I'll be happy with it. I didn't want to go overkill and screw up my tranny, and for what hp I'm gonna be getting...190-200 whp, this seemed to best fit my needs.
