What is causing my 97 Civic EX to drink so much gas? What could it be?
I have a 4 door 97 EX, this thing is like sucking fuel like mad what is the problem with this thing? only get like 375 km (Canadian)
I have an AEM intake on it and thats it
Drive about 65% street and 35% highway
Auto tranmission (could that be the problem)
What problems contribute to bad fuel economy please tell me?
One thing I dont gun it
make the car shift around 3000-3500 RPM
and during driving it remains steady at 250o, 1500 or 3500 RPM

when's the last time you had a tune up?
fuel filter, pcv valve, sparkplugs, ignition timing, fuel injectors...ect...
all could play a role.

Have you done a compression test yet? That can cause an increased amount of fuel loss.
