speaking from experience, avoid tsudo all together... in fact avoid any sort of knock off style exhaust period.... ive had my fair share of catback systems and my own experience with the tsudo fireball just wasnt worth it. $$ is nice. but remember you get what you paid for.
i originally had the 'fireball' style on my teg and from the get go when installing it, it was fucked. the flanges that connects to the cat was off line. the welds weren't even at a clean edge. i had to grind a bit to get it to fit. so right off the bat it was more of a hassle than anything. yes, that was only one experience, but even after i installed it..i just didnt like the way it fit with my bumper. plus it rusted really quick. stainless steal my ***.. it was garbage.
to answer your q about which is better? they're both the same. piping diameter is the same the only diff is the fireball slashed tip. as far as sound..it wasn't horrible but it was damn ******* loud! if that's your thing then whatever..but i will tell you, there's mad droning at hwy speeds and more often than not, i couldn't hear myself think. it was just too loud...but thankfully it didn't sound raspy. forget the silencer it's ugly as ****. in the end it's your call what you want to do, but truly i'd invest a bit more in a reputable company. trust me im the type of person always looking for a deal, but in this case, you ought to save yourself the hassle and trouble and get quality stuff.
if the canister style is appealing to you, then actually get the N-1 or the 5zigen fireball. Tanabe's racing med sounds really nice too.
my ride is already hot enough and no need to draw extra attention than it already does... get a nice silent system that does the job!
im a big fan of the Apex WS, RSR exmag, ITR muffler, and of course my Mugen TL
if you still want that tsudo than http://www.apexr1.com is good place to get it.
