Default What car is this P30 from?

I'm about to buy a P30 ecu but I have no clue what car it's from or if it's manual or automatic. From my understanding the way to tell if it's auto or manual is by the 0(manual) or the 5(auto) in the second set of numbers. Here are the numbers on the P30 I'm looking at:

37829-P30-930
472-100133

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I know that the p30 comes from a JDM SIR-2, as far as in america i dont know. it is a vtec ecu, but if it is auto and ur car is manual then the vtec wont work, it will throw a CEL code 19 i beleive. i never heard of looking at a number for whether or not it is auto, i thought it was something inside of the ecu to look for. i'm sure you can find it somewhere here on HT. i'm looking to buy a manual p30.. how much are you paying for it?

The P30 ECU only came in jdm 92-95 civics with a b16 and the DOHC del sol. EM1's might also use this ecu but I'm not sure because they are OBD2. The way you can tell if it's manual or auto is from the number after the P30. For example if it says P30-A02 it's a manual and if it says P30-A52 it's auto. I'm confused because this one is so off. Anybody else?

eerrrgggg...Incorrect

The P30 came in the SIRII which had a B16A AND it came in the USDM Del Sol VTEC model which had a B16A3. EM1s use the OBD2a P2T ECU. The rare 96-97 Del Sol VTEC had a B16A2 with a P30 also but these were only OBD2a P30 ECUs.

Here's a guide on how to identify ECUs, but I don't think it'll help you since theres no letters in that code you gave us. Ask the seller to send a pic to be sure.
