research research research research research research research research!!!
most of the time when you first get into cars and buy parts, you buy stuff that has absolutely no benefit for you... such as a USDM DC Sports header, and an AEM Short Ram Intake, and little pathetic peices like that. So, i tell you...

why get a vtec controller? ,...if your not heavily modded or have some other cams then there is no point really,..and in order for a vtec controller to benefit you is for you to have it dyno tuned

You people miss understand, i know i have to dyno tune and so forth im just saying it bluntly what i think of doing. I havent figure everything out yet but either way, im saving for a turbo and getting a AEM would really be no use when i install the turbo since there will be one that comes with. And with turbo i will be looking at way more than 20hp. Im just presently adding small things for what ever gain or sound to hold me on off till i get a turbo.

turbo's come with AEM intakes now? if you are going boost, then get an exhaust, and engine management...you will be wasting your money (and time) with anything else.

screw all the little stuff like i/h/e. just save up a good amount of money and just dump it into a turbo system with a complete rebuild. just buying the little stuff is a waste of time and money and you'll eventually want something better.

From what I can tell, you aren't that educated in the forced induction area. I don't know a lot about forced induction, but I'm learning. If you buy a kit, you're looking at roughly $3000-$4000. If you go custom, you might be able to spend less because you are choosing what parts go in your car.

tuning would require the purchase of a hondata, or a vafc, or something similar, adding to the price. 20whp on a b16a is not easy to come by...
