what can go bad that would rob me of power?
Me and my brother both have 96 Civic EX's, coupes. They are both stock except I have 17's and he has 18's (chrome). His seems to have more power than mine when I drive it. My question:
What parts/sensors can go bad that would rob me of power? My airfilter is clean, I've heard of oxygen sensors doing this on other vehicles. My muffler has a rusted tip and vibrates alot. Oh yea, why does it shake so much? From my cat back the exhuast shakes bad. Would this old exhaust rob me of power to where I can notice it?
I searched a little but found nothing solid.

I know that, but the point is he has bigger rims than I do, and he's cutting seconds and crap and I can't do that. We were sorta racing and he smoked me. And he said he had his AC on! Then I drove his car and could tell that mine was losing power somewhere.

when was the last time you performed a tune up? you should change your oil, filter, spark plugs, and check your timing. . then go heads up with your brother and see what happens.
