what brand o2 sensor to buy?
Looking to replace the o2 sensor in the D15B7..
Bosch is everywhere; They're spark plugs SUCK, but is it okay, acceptable, to buy one of their O2 sensors... are they good enough to actually let my car work correctly?
For the same price as an O.E. type Bosch, Autozone can special order me a DENSO UNIVERSAL... Now which to get?
Also, can anyone make anything of this quote? The user hasn't been on Honda-tech all year so I don't really expect an answer if I actually sent him a message:

I used a universal fit one the other day for my 89 teg. Worked great and only $19.95 at Autozone. </TD></TR></TABLE>
Is that price even possible?

i would suggest the bosch. chances are they already have them sitting in stock. i used a universal one on my mothers 2000 nissan altima and it works fine. it's been in there for a year now and haven't had a problem yet.

SWEEET! Thanks.
I'm guessing that is about as cheap as O2 Sensors get eh?
But then again wasn't the OEM sensor Denso?

u should use bosch wires, I don't care what you have to say about 'em, for everybody else - daily driving - they're good wires
As for the plugs though NGK, and O2 sensor? LoL The OEM type one at autozone or advance auto...pretty pathetic that you have/had problems with it because nobody else does...

.. the only thing I ever said I had problems with were Bosch's Spark Plugs. Specifically their Platinum +4's.
and due to that bad experiance with those gay *** plugs of theirs, I was just questioning people's opinions about their O2 sensors.

Yeah thats what I'm wondering right now... if there would be a performance sacrifice made by using the NGK over a Denso.

I'm running Bosch plug wires right now with my NGK's... they seem to be doing well.. I've checked their resistance twice since I've had them so... I'm also running a Bosch alternator... hmm... thats about it though. Bosch seems to be the best brand they had in stock when I went to get these things, so..
I'm sure it's more re-assuring than a Valucraft

you are not the only one that has had that problem.
bosch and honda do not play well together.
NGK O2s fit/work like OEM, because they are.
