My cousin is finally doing a swap and asked me to help him find a motor etc. I called Hmotorsonline and asked him he said $2750 for a B16a2 swap with the right motor mounts and electrical. He wasn't looking to spend that much and I'm not sure on what fits in his 4 door since I'm a EG hatch guy. It has been a while since I read up on swaps because mine is done and has been done for 3-4 years now. What would be a good choice on motor for him? I told him SOHC VTEC but he wants DOHC VTEC. He doesn't know what the SOHC can do etc. though. I told him he could save the $ on a SOHC and 14b turbo it cheap etc. Let me know what motors with what ECU. wiring, and mounts to make a good swap work thanks.


And I read FAQ's also but it said nothing about 4 door swaps etc.

to be honest, I dont think there are any swaps cheaper than that that are DOHC and vtec....
