Outside of an ITR tranny.
for a NA setup would a b16 tranny be better or a would the b18c1 tranny be better.
for FI the LS tranny is best right?

Re: What is the best tranny option for a GSR?? in an EG (THE B)
I have a 95 CX with a 2000 GSR motor and a JDM ITR tranny W/LSD. And let me tell you this thing rocks. I also have a ACT xtreme sprung 6 puck and a xtreme pressure plate. You wont regret spending the extra money for this tranny.

this is the order that i would do it in, best tranny first
ctr
99up spec jdm itr
98below spec itr
b16
gsr
ls
of course this is for racing. if you want a good tranny that is for daily drivin, i would go with a gsr.

Re: (jcarothers)
if you do a lot of highway driving get a gsr tranny w/lsd. these are very good.
if you do alot of city driving and/or mpg is not a factor get a b16 w/lsd or a itr tranny. heck even the itr with 4.7 is great for drag and autox.
the ls is way too long for any app unless you are trying to be a free way racer.
also consider what size rims you are running. the taller the rim and tire the longer the gears will turn out to be
