What is the best option to lower a 96 Civic coupe EX?
I want something cheap but give me great performance and last long.

cut ur springs.
jk. how big of a drop do you want?
if you want a significant drop, your going to have to eventually invest in aftermarket shocks
don't cheap out on parts, especially if u want them to last long, and perform well.
koni yellows last long a perform well.
plus on a your application, i believe it has additional ride height adjustablility. (perches, not threaded coils)
match that with a good set of springs, or if u want more height adjustablilty, coilover springs like ground control.
it may not be that cheap, but in the end, I think it would be a smarter investment.

Really? Are you completely serious? You can't have the best of both worlds: Quality, Reliability and a Cheap product.
A cheap part is cheap for a good reason.

yeah, you can have cheap *** parts, not saying that tien parts are cheap. if you only get drop springs it going to be a half *** job. the ride wont be as good with out the shocks, plus since you drop the car its going to put more wear and tear on the stock shocks= even worse ride
