What is the best model Del Sol
I am new hear and my brother is wanting to get a Del Sol what is the best year and model to get he wants it to be fast and corner well. What do you guys think?thanks

well hands down the vtec model.....no questions asked....the 94 and 95 have a shorter wheel base and so Id say that.....i hae a 94 vtec and it kicks the crap out of lots of cars on road corses and dragstrips

FYI all the delsol had the same wheelbase no matter what year. If you want the best one go for a 94-95 DOHC VTEC and build off that. MIDNIGHT is right in one respect the chassis is like a wet noodle but as far as girlie looks I disagree. Add all the chassis bracing and that helps ridgidity alot. If you are looking to track the car maybe reconsider, a hatch or a coupe. hope that helps. BTW I love mine

I would say the best model is a 95 del Sol VTEC. It has the trunk release! My fockin 93 doesn't have one and its a pain.

hmm...thats quite genius.
the VTEC model. it comes stock with a b-series motor, so you dont have the hassle of swapping. its a better foundation to start with. also, 4 wheel ABS.

ALL DEL SOLS ARE COOL!!!!!!!!!!! except the s model 
which is just a piece, sorry guys BUT THE DEL SOL IS THE COOLEST UNDER RATED CAR. I beat plenty of civics and Integras at the local 1/8 mile strip. and All I have right now is intake and straight pipe for a cat! I also lowered my time .5 secs just with driving it better. 
. moral of the story dont knock the SOL's!!!
