VX. light as hell and has all the wires.
Unless you go 92 then every model has all the wires.

Well, Soichiro-san, since you make Hondas, you should know.
VX is wired for all VTEC. Light, but hard to find.
CX is light as hell, and plentiful. No options, and almost none have A/C unless it was dealer installed. (mine has it)
EX is wired for VTEC, but is only in coupe or sedan form. Loaded with options= heavy.
Del Sol VTEC, already has a B16A, but hard to find and expensive (the only US chassis actually labeled "EG" I believe)
DX, a few more options than CX, a little heavier, and available in hatch, coupe and sedan form.

Of the portly SI (WHich I have ) because i wanted a sunroof.
Although with a b16 I would say the lightest body possible for the torqueless wonder.

If you are lucky enough to find a CX with the wiring, then get a Cx!!! I don't know why some so and some don't, but my friends Cx had the wiring, and anothers didn't!! Weird!! I have an SI, and I love it!! Just depends on how desperate you are and what you find!

All 92 civic's are wired for vtec. VX's have 5-wire O2 which must be wired to a 4 wire to use a b-series motor.
