O'Reilley's Murray OE style replacement
Lifetime warranty
$79.99

Don't put an aluminum rad on a stock engine or else it'll run too cool and your gas mileage and power is gonna be affected....or so I've heard.
Not to mention all aluminum rads can be expensive.
Good luck!

Godspeed is another eBay trash name.
Mishimoto is a solid name, but you'll do fine with an OE replacement from Autozone. Not everything has to have a name stamped to it.

Their intercoolers and radiators might work "fine", but in the end it's all Chinese/Malay/Taiwan crap. Why buy a cheap eBay knockoff brand when you can get higher quality parts for the same/lower price in this case?
Blackworks Racing anyone? Did we ever get those shock dynos?

Is it a good idea to get a new thermostat at the same time? I am probably going with the mishimoto radiator is it a good idea to go with the mishimoto thermostat also it says it turns the fan on like 20° earlier than stock, i guess that couldnt hurt

not to be a werido but. cooler water temps could make you slower. i like the go-autoworks
setup they have a fan that does the same cfm as FAL for a lot less.

your civic does not need anything more than a plastic top radiator. If you want a cheap, reliable and excellent radiators..look into CSF replacement radiators.

Re: What is the best brand radiator for $200
wrona, I am getting the regular half sized
owney boy, ya i was talking to a friend today and he was telling me unluss its a full on track car not a good idea for the racing thermostat because it doesnt let your car warm up to what it is supposed to or something like that, thanks oh and that is a really good deal but i am just afraid of going with something like that and it not being as good of quality, and the radiator is something i dont want to skimp on.
thanks again for all the advice

Are radiator fans pretty universal like as long as it a single fan for the half sized radiator, I am thinking I might keep my stock one for now or maybe upgradeing to a 12" Blox racing slim fan on jhpusa for only $40 + shipping

get an OEM thermostat and also u might wanna clear out ur heater core while youre at it since you will have the radiator out
here's a great video of it

he uses CLR to clean out the heater core i did this and it worked great and it just lets u know that after so many years of flow u wont have to mess with ur heatercore for a while

Thanks Wrona I was going to change the thermostat and radiator hoses but I didnt know about flushing the heater core, I will definitely do that, I was reading on it and people were saying to stay away from CLR though so I was thinking of just using water

Re: What is the best brand radiator for $200
I've got the Mishimoto fan switch that kicks the fan on sooner mainly because I live in Texas where it gets to be 115 degrees in the summer, and little extra cooling couldn't hurt.
Plus I've blow my headgasket before in this hella heat, so I'm not taking ANY chances

Re: What is the best brand radiator for $200
No texas4door the fan switch controls when the fan turns and if you get the racing ones like you said will turn on sooner like 20° or so. The thermostat controls when to let water flow and the racing ones do open sooner to let cooler water/coolant to flow through your motor wich is great for full race applications but I was reading that it can be bad for normal driving operations because it isn't letting your car warm up fully as it is supposed to and can even give you a loss in power so thats why I am putting the stock one, the racing aluminum radiator sbould be more than sufficient for me even for light to medium track days when I get there:-)
