BTW, the small battery works great if you have no alarm and no stereo. With an alarm, it'll run the battery down faster than a "stock" battery, but still has plenty of CCAs to crank the motor up in cold weather (30 degree mornings w/out any problems).

i already checked the d51r out... its what i'm going to end up getting.
its same dimensions as stock battery, vaguely L9.1" x W5.1" x H8.9"
500CCA and 27 lbs.

We installed a Baker 125/PB19 in my brother's car, and it has performed well. It's light, has significant CCA's and amp hours (for a lightweight battery), and isn't terribly expensive.
