What is the Amp on the vtec solenoid
I have a si 00 (canadian model) vtec engine and I wanna know what is the amp for the solenoid.
tks, I have searched and seen 15 amps but i'm just not sure if it's right since it wasn't for the same engine

you mean how much current the solinoid pulls?
~1 amp max I'd guess based on what's driving it in the ECU.

Canadian Si's have the D16Z6 right?
Helms doesn't specify continuity, only resistance. It's 14-30 Ohms if that helps.

i think its the d16y8 engine...canadian si = us ex
