nah, I have a 92 si hatch and some guy on the street offered to buy it from me for $4000. I said no because I only had it for 3 months at the time. When I said I wasent selling it, he said ok, $5000. My civic was bone stock. You just have to find the right dumb *** to buy it. Freaking I was at the Mitsubishi dealership the other day, the freaking salesmen wanted to buy my eg. Funny.

A clean stock 92 si hatch would be worth like 3k here, maybe more. But it's also nearly impossible to find any clean civic older than 96.

Re: what is a 92 si hatch worth? captiva blue bone stock
In my example when I was in the search for an si I originally only wanted black or white (captiva blue is nearly non existant in si here). A year passed and I still couldn't find a non race non modified completely stock in every way clean titled si. I finally found a si, but in teal. I ended up purchasing it for 4K (three years ago), but at the end it was worth it, and he even had every single service work papers/alignment sheets/etc.. for the car. My friend is kicking himself in the ***, because he didn't wait for an si, and purchased a dx while on hot summer days I drive with my windows up =D
If every single si that is being posted for sale in your area is salvaged, suffered from body damage, has rust, been abused, raced out, riced out, or whatever then you have such a HUGE advantage. Just be patient with the right buyer to come along, because you both will be happy. Good luck with your sale, and I hope it goes to someone who appreciates the classicness of your car.

yea, like others said.
depends on condition etc.
you could have someone offer you alot, and someone offer you a little.
i have two 93 si hatches.
one has alot of quarter panel rust, bought it for $1k.
another was mint condition, gsr turbo, got that for $3500.
both were steals IMO, but people and the market are different every where.
im sure theres someone out that that'd pay 4k cash tomorrow for your car,
but are you going to come upon them.
its really down to what you want for the car.
get as much as possible, by all means, but if you're looking for cash
you can't be waitin on jo shmo who doesn't know jack to buy a RARE SI.
regardless, goodluck with the sale.
by far one of my favorite and most prized vehicles.
tho im like an EG hatch crack addict.
