can anybody tell me what this is and where does it go

and i also noticed my egr isnt connected does it matter?

Can you tell us where this is? Or what the camera angle is? I see the battery and I think I see a subframe? My guess is that it went to the charcoal canister for emissions.

Yes that does look like the hose that connects to your charcoal canister on the bottom of it
