Went to track, bone stock EX Coupe times.
'93 Coupe, stock Z6. Well, I've got a cheapo intake, but, other than that - stock.
Everyone seemed to be running slow, and I was the only one who seemed to be satisfied with their time.
I got a 16.798 @ 81mph
R/T: .847
60ft: 2.515
Was one of my slower R/T's.
Was up against a new Neon. Got spanked. :-) Enjoyed it, tho'.

I said I was happy with the times. That's about what I expected. Junkyard turbo is in the future, when the Z6 is ragged out, I'll move most of the components up to an LS.

Was this your first time out? If so, i don't think you did too bad.
Get the 60' times down a bit and you should be in the low 16's atleast.
Here's my best time with a bone stock EX:

What track in Jersey was that at???
I have never seen a stock EX run 15's, and have 2.2 60' times!!! Were you running slicks or something?

Re: Went to track, bone stock EX Coupe times. (BlackDeuceCoupe)
it was a bracket race, but I ran him many times thru' the night.
Wasn't expecting win, just wanted to get some times.
But the SRT was nice. Black. Was purdy.

work on the 60ft
i ran 16.2/16.1 when i first got my dx 1.5 93 coupe. stock 13 inch steelies and all that. i believe my mph was 84mph with the 16.2, ill have to find the timeslip for the rest of the info. but yes, you can go faster, but then again whats the elevation?

low elevation. prolly 500ft or so. that's not my problem. this was my first time out in well over a year, so, yeah. First time I've really tried to launch my EG, too.

I'm still a track virgin, but I've been thinking of throwing down my '93 Si. Maybe can get near high 16's. lol

If they made a coupe, that's what I would be driving, but I HATE sedans...

my friend ran a 15.9 with an EX with just an intake and header...it was ran at the Temple Academy Track in Temple,TX...It mainly depends on the track you run. When i lived in hawaii and then moved to texas...my time was shaved by 0.5 seconds. i think it has something to do with the air and elevation.

Re: (TwistedSI)
I'll bet in the low 14's. The problem with the SRT-4 is wheelspin, if you want to call that a problem. That's what kills their 1/4 mile times. The great thing about them is, they're still accelerating after you go through the lights. That is, they will keep right on going to 150-160 MPH with no problem --- and that's stock.
Too bad Honda doesn't make something like that for 20k. If they did, I wouldn't be looking around. It has a 7-year factory warranty too.
LoL! Scare the bejesus out of WRX drivers in an American economy car.

Re: (BlackDeuceCoupe)
The SRT's best was 14.6 that night I do believe. Also had a guy in a B18C1 hatch running high 14's all night.
Like I said, everyone was running crappy. 80-85 degrees, 100% humidity.
