well, i just threw a rod through the block
Alright, long story but, i had a civic hx, and i read all of bense' stuff about them so i decided to build one up kinda. So for mods it had:
EX Transmisison
EX intake manifold, but i bored it out, to fit the h22 throttle body
H22 Throttle body
head milled .030 giving it a 10.5:1 compression ratio(9.4:1 stock)
CAI, and headerback exhaust with a test pipe
OBD1 wiring harness conversion and a chipped p28 ecu
ECU was crome tuned
...and a VAFC for vtec switchover point wich was set at 4000
Crome estimated it had 138 wheel horsepower and 142 ft/lbs and i call bullshit on the torque but anyway.
Threw a rod threw the block it had been going but i kept driving it easily hoping it would make it a little longer. I went to a local junkyard and they had a 1995 d16z6 with 40,000 miles (saw the odometer), sold me it for 250 bucks. OK, so my car is a 1998 Civic hx, anything special i should know before attempting this swap, im only swapping it to sell it, thanks alot guys.

yep, happened onthe highway right between two construction zones hahahah. Yeah i dont know what the reason was, it started knocking a week ago, i knew it was going. The kid that had it before me, never took care of it, never changed the oil, ran it with no oil, etc. I rebuilt it twice but the cylinder walls were so scratched i couldnt get the scratches out.
And to be honest i dont know how much to ask, it will be soon though, its a 98 civic hx, its not perfect, the kid that had it before me beat the **** out of it its got dings here and there. its got those cool hx rims though
