well d16z6 swap didnt go well

well d16z6 swap didnt go well
i posted about a week ago, i blew my d16y5, my fault, so i swapped it with a d16z6 form a junkyard. well i get that thing all installed and it knocks. what the expletive, so they are going to take it back, now, im going to keep the z6 head. and they are going to swap me a GOOD working d15b7. now if i put the z6 head on that what headgasket do i use and do i have to do anything for vtec, i just want to get it running so i can sell it haha. thanks for the help.

there is a huge writeup on this, its fairly easy.

thanks guys, yeah it sucks big time, i didnt put the axles back in or anything yet so its not a whole lot of work to be done, plus none of my friends really want to help too much so i did it pretty much all by myself. I have an EX tranny on it so its got the good close gear ratios so ill let you guys know how it goes, and thanks for that link.
