Welding????
Anyone know if a normal mig welder for car chassis etc weld a crack in my stainless exhaust, or do I need special welding wire??????

Welding stainless is really tricky. If you don't really know what you're doing with it, you may just make matters worse. If not done correctly, stainless can actually corrode faster than mild steel. If you have't already, get some help from someone who has experience with welding the stuff.
