Okay my fried realized at the last minute that the piston/ rod combo he had could not work together...when I say last minute I mean we went to this shop and got 2 corner of piston where the wrist pin goes in spot welded so the wrist pin would not come out… anyway is this reliable at all I mean the guy who did it is a pro and he said that it would have a funny idle because we just threw off the balance but he said it would last….do you guys think it will last or hold like 12lbs of boost….everything else in the block is sound>>>> honed blockguard, new bearings, bearing crush, line bore…..

I hope it blows up because you took a short cut, and honestly it wouldn't suprise me if it did. Get the right parts.
