Wow looks like a fun project car! Nice find. Good luck and keep us updated.

Btw; I bet u cant find a 400$ 87 supra in the east coast. This one teacher in seattle thatt dint kno much about cars hooked me up. Only things i changed were the starter and the rod and main bearings. Then i gave it a full tuneup and now the car runs like new. Everything is original.

great deal, easy fix

only thing you might want to do that'll cost a lot is a paint job...

clean it out, do the timing belt/water pump/tensioner/etc., paint it, and change your fluids, and you've got a good looking ~$1500 car

Nice ride, del sols are sweet, hondas that are relatively unique BEFORE mods are rare

OP, the leak may be from a poorly engineered front roof seal.

The early ones all had that problem, but they fixed it in 96 iirc.

$150 or less online from Majestic or whoever you like for OEM.

nice find my buddy not to long ago picked up a 94 twin turbo black targa top supra for $6000 with 52,000 miles on it. Nephew moved to texas and left it there and sat in the driveway and the uncle that owned the house wanted it gone.

Thanks for t3h props guys. I'm looking forward to driving her. Should be doin that this weekend. I"ll get some vids and more pics when I get the bay cleaned up.

I havn't done a whole lot. Febreezed the hell out of the interior. I temp wired up a starter button in the cabin, so I don't have to touch the wire to the battery like I was (that was very temp, but it got the job done).

I did do a nice gold bolt conversion in the engine bay.. meaning I pulled every 10mm bolt I could and replaced em w/gold bolts Looks good. I'll get some pics when I get the engine degreased/washed. Looks like the dizzy o'ring is leaking. I'll find out for sure when it's clean and I"m driving it.

I found a oil pressure gauge in the trunk of my Teg ( I hard forgot about it) so I'll get that installed along with a temp gauge soon.

Still havn't taken that dang butterfly sticker off the back window. I"m gonna forget about it and leave it on and be driving around.

Not good

Do it. You never know. Times are tough and guys who are married, their wife will be more than happy to get a busted car out of her yard

Be sure to have you some cash in hand. Money talks bigtime.

Whats funny, is this is the SECOND Honda that was sitting in a yard bought on this rd. A year or so ago there was a lil EG Hatch sitting on some Fat Fives that hadn't moved in a long time. My buddy's dad was lookin for one, so we went up there.. Here it was a CX Hatch (w/a rare sunroof option so I was told) that had a smokey engine.

Dude ended up paying $1500. Body was decent, interior was great. I hooked em up w/a D series engine for free and he had a running car (or better running, it ran before, just smoked).
