Weird starting problem please help!!
i have a 96 civic hatch with a B20 swap running a obd1 P75 ecu. As soon as i turn the key on the car throws a check engine light. Its just a solid check engine light and no code when i try to find out. In order to start the car i have to take the ECU fuse out (fuse #44) and put it back in. As soon as i do this the car starts until i shut it down and then i have to repeat the process again. Im really bummed about the problem and i am guessing it could be my main relay but..does anyone have any insight on the problem? The car does not blow the fuse and also when i shut the car down the IACV valve keeps making a humming noise Until i proceed to remove the fuse and put it back in. The car also bogs in the lower RPM sometimes, until i give it more throttle and then it jumps back up.
All help is appreciated

Possible fuse box issue? Wedge a small packing peanut between the fust the the fuse cover... see what happens.

Your ECU should not throw code 2.
Reset the ECU to see whether the codes return.
One possibility is that fuse 44 is not making good contact in the fuse box. Try ever so slightly twisting the two fuse prongs to allow better contact with the hood fuse box terminals.

Re: Weird starting problem please help!!
the fuse makes contact perfectly fine. I know this because the car doesnt give any problems when its already started. It just needs that initial fuse thing done before being able to start.
Im really frustrated over this issue and any help would b nice. The car runs fine until i shut it down then when i turn the key again it throws a check engine light and gives code 2 and 15. im thinking its a wiring it issue. i know my ECU is good and will swap out distributor tomorrow to narrow down the possibilities.
