Weird squeeling noise????
In the last 2 weeks I've had this weird squelling noise coming from my car (98 Civic EX w/JDM B16 Stage 5 Clutch) that has gotten progressively worse. At first I thought it was my clutch, but I had just installed that about 10 months ago and it hasn't been in use for 7 out of the 10. Then I thought it could be my CV joint because during my clutch replacement I ended up pulling one of my CV joints apart by accident, but I was able to get it back together (suprising huh?). It's not a constant squeeling it's only when I start to move, and somtimes when shifting into 2nd and when downshifting into 3rd and 2nd. If anyone has any ideas on what it is let me know so I can fix the problem.

Check the belts. and provide us with more info.
Does it only do it when the car is moving/accelerating. when braking? What about your clutch; name brand or knockoff?

squeeling noises are usually your belts. make sure your belts are all tight. mine did this when i did my swap... i tightened the belts down and havent had the embarassing squeel since.
