Weird sound coming from brakes..
Ok i have a 99ek hatch with gsr disk brakes all around.. They make this sound that almost sounds like either a bunch of crickets, or the electricity sound.. I was told it was normal.. The wind flows through the slotted rotors, and creates an echo of some sort.
Does anyone else get this same thing, or is my car acting funny..

could be your rotors have some dirt on them , migh take the wheen off and clean them with a cloth , if they said it was normal turn up your stero and picture your self with crickets

hey since your the mechanic around here tell me this...sorry dude didn't mean to take over your thread...what is the problem with the car if it vibrates on the freeway when u accelerate..

Since your the smartass, why dont you get your tires rebalanced and check to see if you have a bent rim. Also check your axles.
