hi, i have a 98 civic ex coupe, when i started the car and if i dun let it warm it up, and start driving at around 1500rpm, there is a sound coming out from somewhere when i let out the clutch and give some gas.

but it goes away after awhile.

anyone know why? could it be the parts are too cold or is it my dc shifter?

what kind of sound? where does it sound like it is coming from?

sounds like irs coming out from the bottom of the car, but only for like 5 mins, it would go away and only when its very cold.

squeaking sound, turn the ac on and off. see if that affects it,. also turn the wheel and see if that affects it.

nope, i just remember, the sound came out after i shift, but it will go away for 3-4 seconds.

like a grinding noise? a chirping noise? wurrrrring noise? what kind? does it go CRUNCH? a lil more description is needed.

if the noise is coming from after u let out the clutch it could be the release bearing in ur clutch assembly. my car does that too after i engage the clutch, but it goes away when i have it in neutral

but it only does it when it cold, its all fine once i started driving for awhile. could it be the bearing freezes up.

is it a vibrating buzzing noise?... it could be your fuel pump..

i would say just leave it there..
it's like - 25 outside, everything is all fucked up even you warmed the car up..

you should wait until it's summer, then that sound would probably be gone

what kind of sound is it? could be exhaust leak? idunno mang. more info needed fo sho
