I didn't know what to put for a title because this is a weird question. I have a 97Cx (D16Y7) in which I did a mini me swap Y8 head from a 00 Ex. I did all the wiring and have the P2P ECU being ran as we speak but failed my inspection because the monitoring items weren't ready. What I would like to do is put the original ECU (Cx) back in and run it to see if the OBD2 monitoring status changes to ready. I know I will need to rewire the ECU again to accomadate the original Cx ECU. Now the question, <b>Can I mount the three wire IACV from the Y7 onto the two wire Y8 spot? </b> Cause what this will tell me is the ECU for some reason is giving me the issues with the EVAP, Catalyst,and O2 sensor monitoring is not ready. I do not throw any codes at all. The only one I threw was the 91 or P0453 and I did the pot trick and it cleared it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
