Weird noise when driving

Weird noise when driving
today i was driving home and while i was driving i noticed a wierd noise almost like belt that had came off or a flat tire....the car doesnt display any check engine lights and all the belts and the tires are fine....its on the drivers side in the front...what should i be looking for to figure out what this noise is.....also there is no grease in the inside of the rim...

The mud shield around the back of the rotor could be rubbing. Some metal shavings or rust around the edge of the rotor could be hitting the caliper.
