When ever i drive my car it makes a weird noise almost like a rubbing noise. FOr the longest time i thought it was maybe the front tires rubbing on the inner fender well but since i have owned the car i change from a 17 inch wheel to a 15 inch wheel and the noise hasnt gone away.
It only makes the noise as you are going down the road so im kinda at a loss dont no what it could be. The only thing that i think it might be is from the tranny but the tranny shifts great with no grinds or anything. SOme one told me to change the fluid in the tranny because if they used a sythetic oil in there it could make the tranny noisey.

Can any one tell me if using a sythetic oil in my tranny could make it noisey. I am hoping that is what the problem is but not sure. I just no that i have nothing rubbing and the car runs great.

check the intermediate shaft rubber guide if it is un strap or loosen up, it is located at the right side down the tranny, when it is loose it will move outer to your lower spindle and makes a noisy sound...i've experience that before I thought it was the tranny also but good thing I figured it out that it was just the rubber guide...
