Weird idle problem
I know everyone has an idle problem, and I've searched, but I couldn't find anyone with exactly the same problem I have.
Sometimes after I come to a stop after a long ride, the engine will dip down to ~300 RPMs, get rough, and then go back up to 700. I found a way to replicate the problem though - if I rev the engine to 5k+, then let off, it goes down to 300 for a few seconds (gets rough), then back up to 700.
Anyone have an educated guess what my problem might be?

Re: Weird idle problem (Aphelion)
you can check the timing or on the throttle body there is a air fuel adjusting screw get the manuel for the car and it will tell you how to adjust and fix it pretty good

you can check the timing but whatever you do don't touch the idle screw on the tb cause that's not your problem

Re: (IC33)
The IAC could be dirty , take it off and check the screen in it , Don't go messing with ur idle screw on the TB if u don't have to ... its not a air/fuel adjustment,, it is preset from the factory and if no one has ever messed with it u should leave it alone... it is there to set ur idle.......... souns to me like the iac just might be dirty...check it out

Re: (ReDHaTcHy97)
i had the exact same simptoms... after a rolling road ( for other reasons ) i found my idle problem to be the lambda sensor in the exaust, giving false O2 readings to the ecu
a qwick scrub with steel wool got it going again.. but i should realy recomend you replace it. in the uk there about £75 but u could get a non-honda aproved part for less.
